That VALET system looks pretty interesting. Separate display from the receiver. In theory, a person could decode the information sent to the display and design a PIC based board to give a USB interface, without having to hack up a unit. Basically stating a lot of Robby's work from scratch. Nice price on ebay also.

Yes that is the one im leaning towards also, I cannot find the one he used. The VALET system seems to give you alot more information then the others I looked at. If we didnt have to hack into the board, wouldnt it be easier to do it through the display?

I am nearly finished with the installation of my carputer, and then I see this. There are really smart people on this globe and you are truly one of them.
Gleaning through all the posts, one fellow has prefabricated boards with PIC, you have done the plugin, with PIC programming, another may have a vendor for just the reciever and sensors.
Am I missing anything? Using RR with DigitalFX 2.0.
Anyone with new information and what I need to do to join in the fun please chime in.
