What did you use to learn it?
And is there any way to 'wipe it' to start over again?

Today, messing with the device, I got it to rotate (randomly) the sensor data to all 5 wheels! None of the data changed mind you...just the position.

Also, ALL the software for this reads the USB device, not the TPMS. There is no direct way to check to see if the device is actually functional? i.e. can read the sensor data?
All the software tells me it's reading the USB portion of it, and the 'learned' data store on it...

Somebody has to fix these issues! We all paid money to have these in our cars, and I don't know of many that aren't having any problems...
Erm, correct me if I'm wrong here - you actually paid for the hardware and firmware - the software applications are all freeware, and not guaranteed to work on all different incarnations of carputers out there.

Maybe write your own application might fix the problem for you, or making use of different (proven) pc hardware that is happy with the mentioned applications.

As long as people (like you) realize that the plugin developers are doing this for free, and they are actually under no obligation to spend 100's of hours to test every possible combination out there.

Time you start doing a bit of reading through this thread, as most of your questions have been dealt with in the previous posts, ie, for example, how to clean the buffer of previous sensor's data, etc.

Enjoy. Sorry if I sound ****y, but to many guys just demands this and that, and it is not on, especially when it comes to guys that developes applications for free.

    Enjoy getting it sorted.

I've been thru this thread...pardon me if I don't remember which page outta 50+ pages mentions clearing the buffer...

Maybe if you know you could tell me...which would probably be much more helpful than what you just posted...and I wouldn't have to keep going on with this rant...

I'm looking for help from the developers here...I'm only an end user, and know nothing of programming or even how the software works. I do however, know quite a bit about computers, and I've tried everything possible to make this thing work...to no avail, obviously.

As far as hardware, USB interface is a pretty standard, 'universal' protocol. And even if it were the controller, I've tried 2 separate hubs and on two PC's...
I've even used XP and Vista OS's trying this out...

Maybe the plugin dev's are writing the plugins for free, but I paid money, just like everyone else here, to have a working TPMS...and I'm outta ideas on trying to make it work...

Sorry if I sound *****y, but I'm at the end of my rope with this thing!

I think the TPMS doctor shows the raw data of the sensors in hex, don't know if that data changes with different pressures. Where do you have your unit placed at? Have you tried using a different antenna?

    WuNgUn,

I am afraid, I agree with Mr Bean, who I can confirm is a very easy going person, and is mostly very willing to assist all with those technical issues when he is able to.
Most of the questions you ask, hasve already been asnwered earlier in the thread, and I guess he is asking that you should at least try to understand the issues been brought up and clarified before asking someone else to do your reading for you.
My suggestion is that you completely revove the software, and reinstall the latest version. Then start the learning process as has been described in the recent posts.
To do a complete reset, take a look at the image on Page 17, and in the lower left hand corner,, while holding doen the **** Key, click on ROBBY. That will display 2 switchwes. The MASTER, will wipe all settings and allow you to start from scratch.

Please be patient with these developers, who have no charged a cent for their efforts.

    I appreciate the help, honestly...
It's just really frustrating trying to make this work. I mean, driving to the local gas station 12 times playing with the pressures isn't much fun! And it isn't even the closest gas station...the closest gas station wants 50 cents to use their pump!

I went thru all 53 pages last night, twice, searching for 'buffer', 'reset'...
I couldn't find a SINGLE post about resetting the buffer data! When I'm told to do the foot-work myself, I don't have a problem with it. But I really don't appreciate being led on a wild goose chase...

    Ally, your post is censored...lol
What 4 letter key would be censored on the forum?
    **** key?
    **** key?
    **** key?
    lol
    Not 'home' key? Or CTRL...

    Okay...cleared the data...
Didn't want to learn after that. Maybe my receiver is dead? I noticed one of the traces 'lifting' a bit with all the handling it's been getting...but it still looks connected.

The word I typed was s,h,i,f,t. Don't know why the censor saw that as a 4 letter word.
I think you will find, that if there is no signal comming into the software, TPMS Doctor, it will show as OFFLINE, so if that isn't the case, there must be some wifi going on.
All I can suggest is again to do a hard reset, then, while ensuring all other programs are closed, try learning 1 tyre to see if it is picked up. Others have suggested that after you learn a tyre, you should close the software, and then a few mins later, restart and learn the next tyre. Also, make sure your receiver is not being blocked by metal. If you can, place it outside of the car while learning. When you do get all tyres registerd, ensure they all have different HEX code. I have experienced a learning process, where I thought I had all tyres, but to find the codes were duplicated.
I am certainly not an expert in this matter, but have read some of the threads, and had similar frustrations to yourself. I suspect mine are not working properly, but I do not have the time, or patience to resolve the issues.
    Good Luck.

    Thanks for the help Ally...
After many complications with this (and HDRadio/BT, CF etc) I've gone and wiped out Vista in favour of XP (again!).
HDRadio is functioning perfectly, and I'm getting closer to putting this back in the car and learning the sensors (fingers crossed)...
Perhaps the TPMS works better in XP? Who knows...
    I'll find out today...

    Thanks again
