I think he had a PDA and dexy had a phone, both went through BT running on a java interface in J2ME

damn, sorry to hear that BND. My car was parked right next to yours too. I think I'll have to examine my car later to see if anything was missing.

I think I'll take my keys out of the ignition now after hearing that. I left the keys in there the whole day too. And even left my phone on the dash unattended. I would have gone POed if someone took my phone.

Have you tried searching your car, maybe it's underneath the seats for some reason.

FALSE ALARM>>> Got the fricking headaset. I had to go and wash the car. I searched it, but seems like not thurrowly enough, b/c the guys at the carwash found it somewhere... so no harm done...

but still, we need security soon...

glad you FOUND it! maybe you should edit post #3 so people dont get the wrong idea about these meets.

what do we still need security for? just make sure your stuff is locked down when you cant keep an eye on your car.

Since the BT headset story is now vapor. I think you should pretty much just delete all the posts about the headset and take the gloom off this meet thread, and lets just come back to talk about the joyous meet.

I kinda thought that as I asked ... the line is real blurry now adays... but most are more one than the other...

I really am considering trying to set up a pda as a master control for my system.... but don't know what to use,not so much the vehicle control though, because of the distance limitations, but pc control would be sweet.
