I'm just gonna drop in my home computer in the car. Its a 2.5ghz p4, 1gb or ram, etc.. so it needs the power.

Oh, and I'm going to finish the amp install over thanksgiving

hes gonna end up blowing himself up lol fool though u have to run a ground and a power from the battery for an amp :-P

Inverters... expensive and waste of energy. Plus they introduce noise into the system.

Nah... I've had the guys run the power cable. I ran the remote turnon and speaker cable myself
