np man. i bet with people turning on their heaters, some arent working lol. anyhow. Im working nightshift for the next two weeks. 8pm till 5am. so i might be a tad bit hard to get ahold of if anyone needs me. so the guys who were not gonna be able to make it on the 29th.. the 22nd is good for you? anyhow. hope to see you all there for a good time. J

Yea, i think i can make it on the 22nd too. And this time i "should" have a complete setup. Finally got around to ordering my dvd-rw drive kit and wireless network card. Still need to figure out what i want to buy for in the house so my car and the g/f's laptop can get on the internet at home.

Also, i picked up this pretty sweet 4 port usb hub that is rechargable battery powered so it doesnt need any external power supply, and im hoping thats going to throw enough power to my dvd drive to be able to burn discs without auxiliary power. It looked cool, but could probably be a gimmick, but ill give it a shot for a while and see how well it works.

Anyone here using a portable computer?
I have started bulding mine from an IBM T-23 and am looking for guidence.

The goal is to install it on my Honda Goldwing and intergrate the bikes audio and digital dash...
