IBM docking station and uSDC20D wiring
I have looked throughout the MP3Car forums and found references to my question but most posts are so old that diagrams and pictures are missing or use phrases like "...wire in parallel" which I can't relate to my configuration.
I have an IBM docking station (for a T30) and a uSDC20D controller. I have everything setup EXCEPT the power on to the docking station power switch.
The switch in the docking station has 5 soldered connections to its circuit board. With the switch at rest (not depressed) pins 1 and 2 are open and pins 3,4,5 go to ground.
When I press the switch, pins 1 and 2 also go to ground and pins 3,4,5 remain grounded.
Given two wires from the uSDC20D (one +, the other minus) which carry the pule from the uSDC20D,
To which pin(s) on the switch do I solder the + wire and to which pin(s) do I solder the - wire?
Regards,
Jim

Never mind, got it working. Plus(+) goes to pin 1 and Minus(-) goes to pin 3.

Jim
