The remote line 2 is hooked up into my Amplifier (i know...rmt 1 should be run into amp)...but neither rmt line 1 or rmt line 2 are sending any voltage to the amp to turn it on. the jumpers are set correctly as far as i could tell from the wiring diagram i dounloaded from OPUS. I even went to Best Buy to have their installers look at it and see what they could figure out...nothing...does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
Thanks in advance for your help
Dan
Sorry I can't help but for now, why don't you just hook the remote to the ignition line?
wouldnt that create a "pop" sound when the car is started? if not, ill do that...thanks...
Yes in theory many people say it does - but it doesn't for me :-D
Worth a try certainly.
ok...ill try in in about 2 hours when i get off of work...
ill let you know if it works or not...
now i just need to find a wire for that...lol
Thanks
i hooked the ACC wire up to the amp and it works...but i get the pop...so i unhooked it. i would reather be minorly inconvenienced than possibly ruin my new speakers...
now back to topic...why wouldnt my PSU be sending any voltage through the remote lines?
Yeah, as you can maybe tell - I have no ideaHope you fix it mate, try hitting it

yeah...im hoping someone does...i have looked all through the FAQ's and every topic i can find with the word Opus in it on MP3.com....and that was a lot of reading...but nothing has turned up...
i have Opus' phone number, but since its a weekend right now, i cant call them. Ill probably just call them and ask for tech support...im still hoping someone has an answer...i only bought the thing in March, and i finally installed it earlier this week...
thanks though...
