1900 & aopen problem

Hello,
I have been using my aopen pc with the 1900 for a while now, and the aopen MB bit it last week. I ordered and new one and received it today. I installed it and now when ignition is applied to the 1900 it blinks for about 2 seconds and goes straight to solid red. The fan never spins and I get no power to anything. I have the 5v add on and it does not power either. I haven't changed any cables or even moved them. I have not changed the default 90 sec (or whatever) lockout period either. I posted this over at the carnetix site as well, but wanted to see if anyone here had any other thoughts. Please help!

I have an Aopen MiniPC and have been thinking about picking up the P1900. Do you know what caused the original board to toast? Is it possible that the P1900 did it, or do you know that it was some other cause? I'd hate to get the P1900 only to have it fry my system as well...

It's hard to say. My 1900 powers my screen as well, and it worked fine untill I received my new aopen so I have no reason to think that the 1900 caused the problem. I really think that it was a vibration issue with the riser card that caused the MB problem. Until now I have always been very happy with the 1900.

Hey dechutes what kind of mobo do you have? or is it a minipc

It's a mp915 x. The aopen pandora mini pc. Also note that I have just tried reflashing the unit to the latest firmware, and tried another fan neither of which made any difference.

Does the system work when using the AC adapter?

Yes, it works just fine on AC power. The 1900 fails even when nothing is connected to its outputs. There is no power coming out of the 1900 at all when the red light is on through the primary or secondary output.

Well,
It turns out I'm a freakin moron. I forgot to mention that I had my car in the shop for repairs while I was waiting for the new computer. The ford house had blown the fuse on that line by shorting it when they moved it to repair another part.

Chdude3 this is a great product and I strongly recommend it.

No, thank you for the recommendation. Once I can muster the cash for this supply (and the unfortunate cost of shipping to Canada), I think I'll give it an order.
