Compaq D510 SFF Power Supply replacement

    Hey guys,

has anybody tried to replace the power supply of a Compaq Evo D510 Small Form Factor?

I found a pinout of the 14 pin power socket http://pinouts.ru/Power/compaq_pdp_power_pinout.shtml

I put all known pins of a standard atx power supply in the molex connector and the compaq switched on.

    First, there is no smoke.

But there is no picture on my monitor, too.

The 3,3V AUX worries me and the special fan connectors, could this be the error?

This is what my adapter is looking like:

    Hi,
I have a Evo D500 Ultra Slim desktop and it has a 12 pin PSU plug, I've been searching everywhere for crossover connection pinout and havent found anything, I want to wire a M1-ATX to the unit, I just wanted to say thanks for the tips and the link, I think I can use what you posted along with a volt meter to figure out the rest of it, Did you ever get a picture to show up on yours?
    Good luck to you... Thanks!

My CarPC isn't running, cause of the missing 3,3V AUX.

    I need a DC-DC converter to bring the 3,3V out of the 5V VSB/AUX

Also bear in mind with some of the Compaq PSU's notably the EN SFF ones the PWOK or PSON line is the reverse of a Standard ATX supply.

Yes I did, But the differance is that PSU for the D510 is 14 pin, and the one for the Evo D500 is 12 pin, Would I just need to stop at 12?
I'll take some pic's of the PSU in the D500 and post them up.
I read through what was in the thread , great stuff!!
    Thanks again!

    EVO D500 PSU Pix

I think I'm gonna have some time to sit down and do this finally.
I took some pic's if anyone can offer anything it would be great.
I saw the previous and checked out the links, As I stated before my PSU is a 12 pin connector, so.. I need to cross it over so I can connect my M1-ATX to it.. Let me know if anyone has anything on this , pointers. anything!!

    Thanks
    Flomas
