Yeah, I know what you are referring to, though my problem was the opposite (hibernate the pc then turn off the ignition and the power supply starts the computer back up again, then cuts power).
I am trying to get my computer (Dell SX260) to work in standby mode with the P2140.
My problem is the power up and down sequence.
If the computer is triggered by a USB device or the power button to come on while the P2140 is in standby mode the P2140 stays in standby mode until the ignition is switched on and then when the ignition is switched on the p2140 triggers the computer switch turning it off and then the P2140 is in run mode.
Then you guessed it, the whole sequence is screwed up.
Is there a solution for this.
It would be cool if the P2140 monitored the 12v rail on the computer and/or could notice a change in amperage draw to tell it when the computer is on. Since it allready is able to monitor and display amperage draw it seems like a pretty easy feature to add.![]()

One more problem I have, I dont know if this is P2140 related. My computer cuts off after only a few minutes of running if I do not touch the touch screen. I have no inactivity timers set in the screen saver setting and after I touch it once, it will stay on for hours.
This is a weird one for me. Never had this before.
