    M2-ATX won't power on without monitor.

    My M2-ATX will only power up the motherboard when a monitor is plugged in. I've tried three different boards, same thing.

    Any ideas?

    Bad ground on m2atx. Sounds like it is grounding through the monitor.
    Old Systems retired due to new car
    New system at design/prototype stage on BeagleBoard.

    you don't have your pc grounded so its using the ground via the monitor.
