From the site you linked to:
Power Kit for Mini-ITX mainboards; uses a cigarette outlet or external car battery. Includes a 9V~16V power regulator.
I have done a search for any information on Morex DC-DC power supplies, and so far have only come up with people saying you need a voltage stabilizer to use one in a car. I have yet to see anything on the CarPower series. Does anyone have experience with these power supplies?
I gather that they don't have a SDC, but that actually will work well in my setup.

Ya, I saw that. What I would like to know is if anyone has experience with these, are they any good?
Thanks for the reply
Would you want to gamble on that for $65 (80 watts) and wonder...
or get an OPUS 120

for $93?
(Note: I do not work for the store or this site)
The OPUS line has a good reputation and fairly long history.
