P1900 stops powering ACC if secondary output unplugged??

I have the latest rev P1900 and the primary connector powers my PC, the secondary powers my monitor, and the blue wire connects to the ACC on my amp. It all works great IF everything is plugged in. Oddly enough, though, if I disconnect my LCD (even just the video connector) the P1900 stops powering my amp. Same thing if I disconnect the power (or both) from the LCD. It is like the WHOLE THING makes a circuit which is broken if something is not connected, but of course that is ridiculous. So, it appears to be weirdness with the P1900 blue (ACC) wire. Anyone seen this and know how to fix it?
