    Datalux DC-DC converter

I have one of these from a Datalux system, and whant to know what else I could use this in the carputer setup besides the screen? it takes low voltage 8-16 vdc in. can I make this work with my atx powersupply that comes with my sv24?
Sorry for the ignorance, But I knew I was going to have to address the power issue sometime!

im not really familiar with the Datalux dc-dc adapter, but im asuming it needs 8-16vdc, and it outputs the correct voltage for the screen?

Does it say how many amps it takes?

As long as its below 1 amp then id say its safe to power from a regular computer power supply.

If youre running a specialized Dc-dc computer power supply, im not sure about how many amps it can handle.

Its an older set-up, one that pluged into the small pc, and the other into the screen!
