alright, so i rewired everything in my car and left the computer the way it was when it was working.

im now running a 4AWG wire to a distro block with a 8AWG from it to VIN
im running a 8AWG from ground on DSATX to distro out of which 4AWG to a chassis ground.
and same old ACC line that i hade before.

now i am getting 5 blinks. also when the ignition is off it blinks 3 times and turns off..then sort of blinks twice...then 3 times again..all kind of weird pattern.

    what could it be??

if i were to disconnect my PC from the batter what are the steps i would take. I am using TOP posts on my battery as to not interfere with my side posts for the car. Would i remove the ground from DSATX first then take the POSITIVE connector of top post off my battery??

and last but not least.. can i leave the setup the way it is overnight...connected..but not working. or is it better to disconnect everything, i am not entirely sure on what to do.

my wire connectors to DSATX are all messed up, where can i get some new ones?

    thanks in advance.

EDIT: just went back to the car almost 2 hours later and it is still blinking. i dont want it to kill my battery so i pulled VIN out then GROUND ( i know i shouldve done in reverse if it matters) .. anyway noticed that my ground is very loosely connected to the wire terminal..could that be the problem? is there a way to check a proper ground wire?

i need new connectors to connect to the terminals in DSATX and every other one are too wide..

so i did some searching around. going to reconnect everything again today and make sure im proper connections everywhere..maybe it will boot up.

im just hoping its not one of those faulty DSATX..i had it working the first couple of times with my previous wiring.
