Thread: Inverter Shutoff With Ignition

Hello,

I am trying to connect the switch for the inverter to my ignition. I have a Jensen 300Wat Inverter. I bought a relay but just need some info on hooking it up, Tried searching but no luck. I opened the switch for the inverter. I've included a diagram of the switch, It has 3 wires, 2 positive, 1 negative. I checked with a multimeter. One of the positive lines is 16 and the other positive wire is 120 when switched on. Wondering how to hook up the relay.
