12v regulator interference

Prob the wrong place to post this so sorry in advance :-)

It seems there is allot of interference coming from the 12V Regulator. The speakers have a annoying buzz when ever i have the 12v regulator plugged in. When i had it running off a different power source there was no interference. is there any way i can improve this ? Like wrapping some kind of Protection film around the regualtor

I don't think wrapping the regulator with anything (if available) would solve the problem.
should go with another 12v regulator, a higher quality one maybe?
