Woohoo! I finally took the plunge and went along with a few others here and bought the Opus DC-DC supply (www.opussolutions.info). Kris (who seems to be their main support/sales rep.) was most helpful and responded pretty quickly to all my questions and naggingHe told me I could purchase the unit without the case and the fan and it ended up being 10 dollars cheaper too. I can't wait to get this unit to my house and installed in my car. I highly recommend, so far, these guys. The true test is when the unit arrives. I will say this though, Kris is most helpful with everything, I'll keep everyone posted and i'll take lots of pics too.
Oh I also ordered a new LCD if anyone cares :/ my old one died. Was gonna get a Xenarc, but decided I'll just stick with ntsc until the Xenarc's come down more in price (if they even do)
Cheers!

I ordered one on Friday I think. It is shipped and I have it tracked to be delivered on Thursday. I am excited to get it.
I beleive Kris is the ONLY man there. I have a feeling this is a one man operation. I could be incorrect though.
So far my dealings with him have been good. He doesn't accept credit cards at this time. He said possibly in a few weeks, so I payed by paypal. He sent me a UPS tracking number within a few hours.
This should be a nice addition to my system.
I too am getting a new LCD. Says its suppose to be a 500 nit, but by looking at the model number and calling Datalux its not a 500 nit unit. Seller says it IS 500 nit so I will have to trust at this point. I guess I will find out tomorrow as it comes via FedEX.

Which supply did you buy, 100 or 150W?
How much are they?
I purchased the 150 Watt Unit.

As I understand it the 150w ATX version is the only one available at this time

After buying the Sproggy partial kit, tracking down and buying multiples of the additional parts, carefully constructing everything and getting it working... I've ordered an Opus PS also. I can't tell you how disappointed I was to discover my Sproggy wouldn't power my MB and HD... or that the shutdown controller just didn't work. I've wasted so much time and money trying to save a few bucks.
Yeah the Opus isn't cheap, but I think it will be well worth the money. It does have a 3 year warranty on it too. If I can over 3 years off this supply I will definately be happy.

Scheduled delivery is still Thursday!!!
