    Opus compatible?

I took the parts for my carpc from a HP a245c. The opus 250 says its for AT, ATX, uATX, FlexATX, Mini ITX motherboards.

I am not sure if this is compatible with my motherboard. I bumped into this psu http://logicalplus.stores.yahoo.net/at20mihpcore.html and it says its compatible with microATX and my HP model is listed as compatible computers. I am assuming this means my motherboard is ATX and I can use the Opus, correct?

If not, am I going to need to use something like this? http://store.mp3car.com/Carnetix_CNX..._p/pwr-026.htm

    Thanks!

you need to determine if the motherboard is 100% ATX compatible.
Open it up and look for teh 20-pin connector on the motherboard. IF that's there, then it's likely that the Opus will work.
The only way to be 100% certain is verify the pinout of the HP PSU is the same as AT standard.

You can also see if the existing PSU is ATX comatible. There shoudl be a label on the side that will give you that information.

I'm pretty sure that the Opus will work for you. But you still need to do the leg work so you can be 100% certain.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.
