Should work...but it's right on the margin. Only way to know for sure is try it (I know that's not a lot of help).
wasn't getting any response in the laptop section so here goes...
Dell Laptop D620
my new build is going to use a laptop and docking station. i'll be able to remove / replace the laptop at will and update it at home when need be. as well as take it out for security reasons.
The laptop uses a 9-cell battery and there had been some warning about using car-plane adaptors with this laptop.
But on Dell's store site, Lind Electronic boasts that their 90W versions can handle D620's.
But - then you add to that my docking station. Doesn't sound good for me. I'd really love to keep it simple w/ a DC-DC setup...
___
some info:
The AC wall adapter states:
19.5V
4.62A
the DC Car adapter that i'm looking at has the following specs:
Input Voltage............11 to 16 Vdc
Output Voltage .........20 Vdc
Output Current..........4.5 amps (max)
Fuse........................15 amps
on paper, it should work right?
but how about w/ docking station and real world use?
