Do I need DC specific fuse?

I'm thinking about adding some inline fuse from ignition to PSU for safety, when I check on line some inline fuses are rated in VAC and Amp, so here is my dumb question...

Can I use the VAC rated fuse for DC? Does it even matter? Or should I just look at the Amperage rating?

Just go to Autozone and buy some Bus Fuses rated at whatever amperage you need for your application.
