    Shutdown Controller ??

Alright, I have the shutdown controller from master (see link in seg for pics) and i seem to be having some trouble setting it up. Ok, heres what I did. I have connected the red wire to +12(always) and black to ground(always)> when I make the initial connection the relay kicks on and the led comes on. So far so good. Now I touch the yellow and white wires and after a little bit, the relay kicks off and the light turns off. From what I have read, this is what is supposed to happen. Now, If I understand correctly, when I give +12V to the blue wire through acc, the relay should kick on and send +12V to the orange wire to psu. Heres the problem, After I connect the blue wire, nothing happens. Go figure. Can anyone give me some insight as to what I am doing wrong?

i haven't gotten to hooking up my controller yet. i hope to do this tuesday-the rain got me out of the mood to do anything since last week! i guess the blue wire is the 12v for the orange wire which is a trigger for your amp remote turn-on

You need to wait for the caps to charge.... Thats why he said hold them together. Mine takes about 18 seconds to click on when the two are held together. You can simply touch them together and expect it to immediately click on. This confused me for a while, I thout it was not working.

    ok heres what you do:

1.move your desk by a window

    2.open the window

3.if a breeze is blowing your papers off your desk, gently place your shutdown controller on top of the pile to keep them from blowing away!

    sorry-couldn't resist

    lol only kidding!
