    ATX PSU filter removed still noise..

    I removed the filter of my ATX PSU like i have read in these forums but the electrical noise still there, it is not as loud as before but it still there, what can i do to stop it??

    anything beyond that is pretty much going to require that you make the switch to a DC/DC PSU.

    And Im sure if you've taken to removing the filters, that you've got a good ground from your case to where ever the inverter is grounded. Thats the only thing I can think of, unless something else (speakers, headunit) has poor grounding.

    check groundings again, ensure they are to the same point in the car's chassis if possible. ensure you have a good strong power lead from your battery to your inverter... finally, poor soundcard?
