I am willing. We just have to coordinate somehow. Maybe an outline ( rough ) then we refine it and so on...

The Faq v0.2 has been up for about a day and a half now, as of right now 61 people have looked at it and a few have commented on it. So give me whatever information you have and I'll add it in!

yeah I'm sorry that I don't cater to the less than 8% of the market without a recent IE/mozilla browser I think opera is around the 1% range?

Perhaps in the future. The menu might not work for anything other than IE/Moz but everything else is plain html

I'd like to help out on this.

Since I'm new to this (and a gearhead at that), I was going through the forums and trying to read everything myself. The problem is many threads are long and most of them don't reach a conclusion. I've spent hours reading and only finding out a little. Heh, I think I know the personalities of everyone here better than the equipment.

I think the best thing to do (as someone else already suggested) is to start putting things in the FAQ, and then having people go through it for correctness.

Perhaps we should get a crew of people together and (again as someone else suggested) get an outline going. From there you can assign a certain topic to each person, and that person would go around the boards/sites looking for the answer. SInce I was going to do this )one day) anyway for my project, I might as well start now and just do less It gives my lurking a purpose heh.

Also, maybe it's a good idea to mirror this faq? I know some kind-hearted people on this board created a few of their own, and now the links are broken.

Well there is an outline already up and a lot of information that can be filled in, check it out, it's linked to in my sig. I've only got the outline, some quick blurbs just to fill in space and a lot of links, but it still needs a lot of filler, plus I only have a small outline, I'm still missing a lot of stuff. If you'd like to help, email me and tell me what you've found out, or check out what I have and see what you'd like to add or fill in (this goes for everyone).

I like your conclusion about what you've found in the forums. There is a lot of information, unfortunately it's not very often definitive and it's hard to find, hence the desire to start a FAQ

As for mirroring, yeah, I'll do that once I get something worth mirroring :P
