    HELP! DSATX rf interference question

I'm having problems recieving am/fm signals. With the computer off, I get stations in no problem but with it on I can only get maybe 1 or 2 stations. I determined the DSATX to be the problem as I still get all the stations when I connect my computer to an ac power supply. Now I tried running the DSATX directly from the battery including running the acc off of the battery positive and nothing changes. Is there any way I can get rid of this rf interference short of getting a different power supply? Does anyone else run this power supply with radio? Thanks.

Hmmmm i have the same power supply and have never heared of that problem. I'm sure that you have tryied moving the computer and or the antenna around to see if that fixed it or not. The only thing i can think of is to check to see if the antenna wire maybe got pinched or cut and killed the ground that would let interference into the radio thru the wire. Just an idea

well, I just got a visteon hd radio receiver which is what I am trying to install but no matter what I do i still get the interference. The lines are all ok because I'm just testing the unit its not fully installed in the car. I have the computer in the trunk and I wanted to install the hd radio in the trunk as well but would it be better if I put the radio and antenna in the front of the car and simply run the audio in cables to the computer? At one point I wrapped the power supply in a few sheets of aluminum foil and I was able to receive a few more stations but they were staticy and it was nothing like what I could pickup with the computer off. The radio sounds amazing when it works I just cant figure out how to stop this interference.
