ok i have a new one to bring the thread back to life.
i just bought an m2-atx and i was looking at the manual and the manual states that the order of the cables is 12V+, GND, ACC
but i was looking at the board itself and the middle pin has a small white stamp that says SW.
so for those that have an M2 installed which is the correct way? ACC at the middle or ACC and the end?

has anyone else noticed how contradictory the m2-atx manual is? the instructions that come with this power supply are absolutely a joke.
I'm looking to get the M2-HV but I need to clarify something.
Does this thing have a sata power plug for the HD?

From this image, the black plug looks like it. But i'm not too sure.

It looks like it does from the picture. Mine I bought about 3 years ago did not. But a sata power adapter is usually included with motherboards and if it isnt then it is like $3.Quote:

The amp remote jumper (J6) is confusing. My amp only has 1 wire to for remote, yet the psu jumper has 2 wires... I checked the manual (RTFM, right?) and it states "left" wire goes to the amp, "right" to ground. I understand this for the most part. My question is simple. Which ground? Do I bolt this REM GND wire to my car's frame, or to the NEG/GND port on my amp?

it does not say that right goes to ground, it states "Right pin is GND". you don't need to connect anything to it. just hook up your amp's REM wire to the M2's "RMT" pin and leave the ground pin unconnected.Quote:

Im having a few problems with my M2-ATX.
1. When i turn off my car the power pulses and the computer does a hard restart, then 5 secs later will shut down, I have the jumper in position 1. I have tried swapping the IGN and POW lines but I know that is not the issues cause when i turn off the car the computer powers off instantly and when it comes back on i get a warning that the system didn't shutdown properly.
2. If I turn off the engine and leave ignition on after about 10 mins the amp turn on wire will have dropped to 5V's and my amps turn off The voltage is still 12.5V's across the battery and 12.3V's across the amp's, M2, and my distribution blocks
I swapped out the PIC controller for the one with the 1.4 firmware but that didn't seem to fix the problem. Could i maybe have gotten 2 bad controllers? or is my board bad or something else.
I am running the LCD and my HD radio from the 12v lines and 2 amps and a powered antenna from the amp line. All of my car power comes from a 8ga wire connected to a distribution block to 4ga wire to battery. All grounds go to 8ga to distribution block to 4ga to bare metal frame ground. With engine on i read 13.3V's across the amps and 13.5V's across the battery's.
Update: Finnally got a 13.8V AC/DC power supply and the M2 behaves properly. For other reason main power must be fluctuating.
