NOTE: This PSU is not meant for an automotive environment. If you want an automotive PSU, please look at the M1-ATX, the M2-ATX or the picoPSU-WI series.

This is just the original PicoPSU's on a board for some reason. They can be used in the car if you could regulate the 12v before hand, but then that would defeat the purpose. They regulate the 5 and 3.3 based off of having a pure +12v signal. Not a 13.8v to 6v signal that exists in the car. And I believe this actually just passes the +12v straight through, no regulation or error catching...

    Actually, it's a PW-200M, which isn't even as good as a PicoPSU.
It's great for a M10000 board that has can be fed regulated 12v power, but not much else.

Search the forums for PW200M and you'll find a treasure trove of information.
Better yet... read the power supply FAQs: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/advfaq.php

    Nope. Not new at all.
Been arond for years, actually. It's nto a bad piece of hardware. It's just that it's usefulness is pretty limited.
