P1900 Issues, what other options are there to power a Mac Mini
Let me start by saying that I a p**sed off with Carnetix. I bought a P1900 to power my Mac Mini and since day one it has never worked properly. I bought the Mac power kit which was supposed to be plug in play. The power lead they supplied was made wrong so they said that they had included an adapter lead but I was not in the box so I had to cut wires to get it to fit.
Now almost every time it suspends it needs to reboot to start. I will be driving along and it will go in to standby, then need a reboot to start. It is set to suspend after 6 seconds and can take anywhere from 15-30 seconds.
It I push the suspend button, it works every time and resumes every time.
Everyone on Mp3 has been great, telling me all the possible causes. I have even unplugged all usb ports except the keyboard and as I have said works perfect when I use the power button but almost never when I turn off the key.
I posted my issues on the Carnetix forum explaining what was happening and even suggested that I may have a faulty unit. I even stated that I was looking to buy a P2140 as I wanted the ability to control the Dylon as I get a thud when I boot.

Obviously not interested in any negative feedback on there products and not interested in supporting them either.[/COLOR]
