    bought a 160W JENSEN inverter... should i keep it?

    I just bought a 160W JENSEN power inverter (continuous: 160, peak: 300, overload/shutdown: 220).

    Does anyone have any experience w/ this? I bought if for 50 bucks at BestBuys. I left it sealed thinking there may better out there... but for now I think it will serve my its purpose well. Lemme know what u guys think and if I should have bought something else! Till then, ill keep this in its package and everything. Thanks guys

    You can get ones with more power output for much cheaper (300W for ~$40) but it depends on the quality that you want. Have you done any searching online? check with google and search for a review using the serial number. Does it have true sine wave output or stepped?

    Hey, how do you find the 5" PS1 LCD? There was some discussion about that, wondering how good it is for the main display.

    I had a 300W Jensen that ran fine, also from bestbuy. Made use of their 30 day return policy and ended up with a 360W from American Power, also from bestbuy.

    Yeah i saw that American Power one there for $70... didn't have the moola for it. I hope this one does the job good.


    Telek, the 5" LCDs suck nuts... at least the ones i bought. The original Sony brand is TFT and much better. I am only using this temporarily for now... still serves its purpose but all the fonts have to be increased to be seen properly and the contrast/brightness levels are a ***** to configure. Whatever 5" you find, make sure it's TFT!
