    Question Shutdown Controller Question

I just recieved and installed my ATX shutdown controller from Mastero. After a few minor problems I got it working and its all good!

However sometimes, randomly, the PC will shutdown and then in the 30 second delay for the inverter to turn off, the PC will turn on, then turn off and turn on again. It gets halfway through the memory test and then the inverter switches off. Any ideas? It all works it's just that minor problem.

On another note I have 650MB of RAM in my carputer to speed boot up. It has a negative effect however as it has to count the memory everytime it boots. I can't find anywhere in the BIOS to disable the memory counting and enabling a quick boot does nothing. I'm using an Asus BIOS does anybody know if there's a way to speed the whole thing up.

    Sorry, a lot to ask.

Do you really need that much RAM? Does having that much really speed up the boot? If not remove some and your problem will be solved.

it may also be shown as a fast boot option. Have a bit of a play. I f you stuff up a setting in bios, just reset it and try again.
