Opus not shutting properly any ideas?
I finally got my computer installed with Opus PSU in my truck again. The first time I put it in for a trip, the shut down controller worked. After the trip, I took my computer out and had it running in my room. The shut down controller worked like it should. Yesterday, I finally finished my center console. I got everything installed and running. When I turn off the ign, the computer went through the shut down sequence but the computer never actually shut completely off. The MB still has power and fan still going. I've tried a few times with the same result. Nothing was changed in the BIOS or power setting on the computer. Anyone have any ideas? Kris? Joel?

Re: Opus not shutting properly any ideas?
Doesn't sound like an OPUS problem to me. If the computer is going into the shutdown procedure, then the OPUS has done its job. You are having system/mb problems I would suspect if its not finishing its shutdown.
Go to start, shutdown, does it shutdown that way?
Like I said, the OPUS sent the command to shutdown and the shutdown is doing its job. So its NOT the OPUS is my eyes.
It sounds as if its going into Standby or Hibernate. Make sure you didn't have those selected.
Your screen stay on?? or do you not have a screen. If you screen goes off and the MB is still lit up and fan running, then its going into standby instead.

All else fails, reformat and reinstall, and I did. Now it works.
