    Regulating voltage to PicoPSU

    Hey everyone,

After -many- years inactive on the forums (and in having a carputer in general) I'm back and have been researching my options on a carputer with all the new tasty technology that's come up. Anyways, I'm looking at a bundle package on ebay that comes with a PicoPSU-90 which after much reading I realize does not handle unregulated voltages... but I don't feel like buying a second PSU so I looked into my options on outputing clean power and found this:

    http://www.watt-power.co.uk/catalogu...mps-p-306.html

Any thoughts on whether this would drive the Pico acceptably? The available current is the same so I would think as long as I get the right tip and polarity it should drive it just fine.

    Thanks as always,

    -Lee

As long as your system draws less than 5A (the max output of the adapter in your link), then it will work just fine.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Great price, specs seem to be in line with what you want to do.

The PicoPsu will consume some of the power put out by the Sunny so as DP says make sure you don't draw more than 5 amps.
