I have the same problem but mine DOES turn off if i cut the feed off the ACC wire but won't restart if ACC is again fed...
i thought of a relay option but i guess if i do that i will lose the hibration option!!

I finally got my system together, but my OPUS 320 will not shut down or powerup when it gets power on the ACC 12v+ line. I read that BIOS has to support ACPI 2.0 to work with Opus 320W. Its funny that this MoBo has so many features but does not have ACPI 2.0, only ACPI 1.0. Does this mean I cannot use the power supply? It does work with the push button on the PC, but not through the OPUS ignition feature.
Here are my PC stats, i have a M2-ATX, and can put that in, but i do not know if it is powerful enough. Can someone give me a wattage estimate.
1. KINO-690S1 MoBo, with X1200 series GPU
2. AMD Turion X2 64 bit TL-56 processor
3. Two 7 port USB hubs, via the 5V rail
4. XM Direct
5. Toshiba 2.5 40GB HDD
6. IDE to SATA converter for HDD (5V rail)
7. DVD Rom
8. IDE to SATA converter for DVD (5V rail)
Everything else in my massive setup is powered up via relay since it all is fused and have their own regulators. Do you think a M2-ATX can handle this. If not is there a way to upgrade my ACPI from 1 to 2?

Here is the response from them.
Hi,
Please check the two wire power-switch cable for proper connections to On/Off pin on main board (Polarityof this cable:Green is positive, White is negative).
In BIOS,
Set restore on AC power loss OFF
Set ACPI to 2.0
Set soft off by power button INSTANT OFF
If it still does not work, can you tell me how many blinks the PS indicate and the duration of the blink?
Thank you.

ok so it turns out that i have the right equipment with the right BIOS settings except that i needed the change the startup voltage jumper from 12.5 to 11V (from pin 5 to 4) since am testing with the ATX PSU rather than using the car battery.
now working like a charm
