I'm sorry, I forgot to mention, can you repeat the process with p1 mode. P0 mode is standard psu mode, which I'm sure you knew. The reason why is that I have a suspicion that this chip that is connected to the on/off headers is bad, so I need to know its logic table, when the ignition is low and high. I'm referring to a very tiny chip on the board, if you look kind of behind the on/off headers to the right a little, there is a tiny device called "U3". Unfortunately, I don't have magnifying lens, but do you think you can identify the device number imprinted on the device?

As far as your amps powering, maybe try it in other modes perhaps.

I have a DSATX in my old carPC, and I am building a new one, using a M4-ATX. On the DSATX, the countdown timer is set via pots, or via programmable via a serial interface. It appears that the M4-ATX has the same feature, a programmable countdown timer. Both of these send a pulse to the MB on/pff switch when the time is up, after power on the ign (or ACC) line has dropped.

However, the DSATX has an additional feature, where if the countdown timer is running, and you short a jumper (on JP8) momentarily, it will drop the countdown timer to zero for that single shutdown sequence, and send the on/off pulse to the MB. Is there any way to replicate this on the M4-ATX?

well, the usb ones are correct, those never change throughout all motherboards.
someone correct me if i'm wrong, cuz it's been years since i've even touched my m4, but:
pins 1-4 are to hook it up to USB. i'd find an old usb cord you don't use, and splice it for use on the m4 - that's what i did.
5 and 9 are, well, ground.
and 8, if i remember correctly is for your amp switch.

OK so now i have a new question my computer turns on perfectly when i had all the dip pins off (in the up position) and when i have dip switch pin 1 on (down position) it should turn on my carputer after 60 sec right? because its not turning on now

dip pin 1 being the one closest to the power cords.
