M4-Atx Problems... Anti-thump still thumping and more...
I've finally gotten my system completely wired up and 100 % functional, but my power supply (m4-atx) seems to be acting strangely and I'm hoping you guys can help me out.
The main problem I've come across is that the amplifier anti-thump is activating too soon and releasing too late. The amps turn on right with the computer causing a thump, and stay on for the full minute after the computer has shutdown, causing another thump. I have the board set in p1 mode (1st switch down) and my firmware revision is 1.1 (according to the mini-box utility)
Second, I've tried reseting to factory defaults by bridging jp1, following the manual; I don't get any response from the board (No "rapidly flashing led")
Thirdly, I've tried messing with the thump delay in the mini-box utility and it doesn't seem to have any affect either, I've told it to send the changes but there doesn't seem to be any indication/verification that they've sent.
Lastly, the voltage readings in the utility seem to be wrong as well, it tells me that my ignition voltage is 16v and my 12v line is 18V but in reality both are at 12.07, measured directly at my m4-atx.
Are any of these common problems with the m4-atx, or is it likely that I have faulty board? Also, could there be something I may have messed up that's causing it to act this way?
Thanks in advance,
