How to make a small auternator

Ok. I want to make an auternator to fit a 1/18 scale car. (my racing car) It is an electric so i want to help the car last longer so i can play with it longer. Is there any way i can make one to fit in around a 2'' by 2'' or something around that? So i can recharge my battery or just run off of that.

    LOL

    It's "alternator" you mean, no?

And the only thing I can imagine an alternator doing on an RC car is regenerative breaking, but that wouldn't do much anyways.

Oh, and if it could "just run off of that", you would have invented a perpetuum mobile

Also a question: what the hell does this have to do with putting a computer in a car?
    Just asking....

Your idea will not work because it violates the laws of thermodynamics, which are the very basic rules of the universe itself. If you could build a device to succesfully do what you describe, you would tear a hole in the fabric of space and implode all stars and planets and everything would cease to exist, killing everyone instantly.

    So don't do that.

This thread is one of the funniest and ridiculous I have read in a long time. I therefore conclude the OP is a troll.

For everyone that finds this funny: have a look at his solar panel thread

The next thread I guess: "How can I make a very small nuclear reactor for powering my RC car"

    lol

I'd like to see this succeed, myself.

Think how wonderful it would be to have an electric car that generates more electricity than it uses every time you drive it.
I can easily see the technology from a successful 1/8 scale RC alternator scaling up enough to provide that!

It would probably be able to run the car, carputer and maybe even have enough left over to take some of the load off my electric service when I plug it in at night to recharge my house.

that would b funny but i dont have any clue how to do that.

people were saying like if i would take my motor and spin the gear to make the power.
have it run on solar energy like what i'm talking about in my other thread. but have a motor in the car and when the wheels spin that spins the motor causing more power to help run anything else like a small fan inside to cool the brushless motor down and maybe like neon or something on the bottom of the car(christmas lights sticking out to make it light under the car) i can make it look alsome

Oh actually the motor that's in it is a powerful generator. The breaking circuit basically shorts the motor turning it into a supermagnet that stops the car. Hook up a light bulb to it and spin it. It will light up.

All you need to do is make a circuit that switches between powering the motor and using it as a generator at about 100 times per second or faster and the battery will never run down because it's charging half the time. There wouldn't be any drag. It might actually go faster because there are 2 power sources!

what if i atach like a pully system to the wheels and the motor in the middle so when the car is moving it moves the pully which moves the motor which makes electricity which helps with different things around for the car?
