The trick to extending your range, of course, is to install what's known as a 'Bussard Collector' in front of your go-kart. It collects the air in front of you in a cone that compresses it down. Pass that through some compression gearing and it'll just keep adding air to the tank as it's used.

i like that idea of the funnel in front of the go kart...
but how would u keep it in there then?
and u would need a push start?

(is the air chamber like the co2 tank basically?

You guys are bad..... but in case you must know... the Bussard Collector is also used on the Star Ship Voyager to collect energy for the dilithum reactor.

The air motor is brand new technology, minimal friction losses, one of the videos I saw showed a go cart pulling a car with no effort. I'm just guessing here, but I would think the motor would run about $250k. That is after the 3kg motor (same power) gets released.

On the positive side, it takes about 3 minutes to fill it up and about 2 hours driving time.

Why doesn't the poll ask about solar energy???? I mean that IS the thread you know!
    My opinion is my own.
