    Wow, it's like a good comic book. You want to believe it's true, but your mind is saying, no flippin way is this a serious thread!! Had me hooked though! And I would say you guys are going to hell, but I think you've thrown out enough disclaimers! Caveat emptor.....

    I think thats absolutely brilliant - though what he actually wants can be done in XP and not (easily) in vista.

    You just need a webcam with mirror settings - software to make the webcam live stream on a webpage and use the web page desktop option thats in XP to display it .... not exactly a mirror though , but it would have that effect.

    Scanning a mirror was an attempt ... not a good one by any means , but an attempt.

    Or you can do it palm-style from the late 90's. Just shine a gray over the whole screen. If it is a light gray, and a good reflective shiny monitor, it will be just like a mirror. I remember there was a whole application to do just that.
