    You are trying to make the body for your kart right?

    Just go walk around Home Depot and find stuff.

    Why not just use some chicken wire to make a rough shape, and then fiberglass it or something.

    Fiberglass is waterproof, and for a door just make the full cage and cut a hole and put in some hignes to make t a full door.

    hinges... And it is fiberglass, not lead, so not that heavy...
