    Can I get a DC-DC PSU for $40-$70?

I've had it with this inverter noise, you guys were right, I need a DC-DC PSU. The Opus is WAY to rich for my blood at $189. I was wondering if I could get a 120w - 200w DC-DC PSU for less than $70? Used is ok, as long as it works.

I think used is your only bet. The only PSU in that range that i am aware of is the sproggy. That will run you 35 + extra parts(most of whitch you can get free). If you find any other options in that price range, let us know!

You think 70 watts is enough to run a Celeron 333 A and 2-3 PCI/ISA cards? I also have a desktop HDD and a laptop HDD, as well as a LCD on the +5v

That might be enough. I'll sell you an Arise 150w dc/dc that I've got for $90 shipped. It's a AT psu, but I've got a wiring harness from Mastero to make it work with ATX boards.
