Depends on the MB you want to run. As long as you do not want to run an EPIA M I would go with the OPUS. (Unless the keypower has dropped a lot in price)

Opus is smaller and has all the built in shutdown controls for just a bit more $$ than the Keypower.

back when i was trying to decide what ps to buy- i started this project with an at board so i was looking for an arise ps-some guy here was selling a keypower for $175 so i bought it from him. the next summer when i installed it it was doa. i called the company and sent it out to them. they called me and said i fried it so i had to buy an new one. i "politely" responded that i have never blown a speaker or wired something wrong in my life, that i might compete with my car and that i am on this forum. he called back the next day and said he was sending me a new one as a replacement. very nice guy and helpful. i did not research the difference between the opus and keypower but it seems opus has some kind of shutdown software with it. but you could get a nice shutdown controller from mastero though...good luck

    Opus works with Epia M9000

I just wanted to put a note here that Opus has updated their existing 150 watt power supply so that it now works correctly with the Epia M9000.

I was told by someone at opus just to specify when you order that you are going to use it with an epia-m and the psu you get will work fine with it

I chose a Top Microsystems 250W DC-DC. Simply put it was chreaper than the Keypower, and has substantially more juice than the Opus. If Opus made an 250W PSU wih all of it's intergrated circuitry, I'd definatley buy it... but they don't and I needed the extra 100W.

Can someone maybe put links to the PSU websites (or someplace I may buy them from)? The only one I know of is the opus:

it now works correctly with the Epia M9000.
Does it also work with the M10000? Do you think it would work with the M2 or is it to early to tell? I want to start buying parts for my carputer and I really want an opus and I also really want a M2 (if the price is reasonable, or a M-10000 if not) but I am kinda scared to buy it because of problems between the two.
