I'm stuck as well now, was a working DSATX, but after attempting to upgrade to 114, no go, unit failed to program.

    Now DSATX doesn't work.

Thought it maybe the brainstem, went out and bought a USB FTDI TTL 5 V cable, wired it up as per mpegbox forums and it doesn't work either, hyperterminal is now unstable, as sometimes E shows the whole line othertimes is not displayed.

not happy! I've placed an add in the classified to buy another DOH!

    EDIT:

If I use the brainstem in hyperterm i get a buggered up display when typing "E"
    [Enable Writing? y/n…E
    Enable Writing? y/n
    Enable Writing? y/E
    Enable Writing? y/E
    Enable Writing? y/E
    Enable Writing?*yE
    Enable Writing? E
    Enable WritiE
    Enable WritE
    Enable WritiE
    Enable WritE
    Enable WrE
    Enable WrE
    Enable WE
    Enable]

I get nothing when using the USB FTDI cable

    EDIT:2

The LED on the DSATX is always off, even after placing a jumper on B1:B2

Led used to come on when psu was working.

Have you tried the latest megaload.net?

Tell me what version you have? Version 7 seems to work the best.

If we can't get it to work, you can send it back and I'll fix it for free, you pay shipping to me I'll pay shipping back..

    I've tried the latest Megaload.NET V7

Can u send me an email with the RMA details, I'm really stuck. Do you know why this has played up?

What if I use PonyProg and build a serial interface, will this fix it?

I really appreciate the support and willing to fix it for free. I'll send it off immediately once I get the details, unless you can think of what else i can try

    Cheers
