Thought it maybe the brainstem, went out and bought a USB FTDI TTL 5 V cable, wired it up as per mpegbox forums and it doesn't work either, hyperterminal is now unstable, as sometimes E shows the whole line othertimes is not displayed.

not happy! I've placed an add in the classified to buy another DOH!

If I use the brainstem in hyperterm i get a buggered up display when typing "E"

I get nothing when using the USB FTDI cable

The LED on the DSATX is always off, even after placing a jumper on B1:B2

Led used to come on when psu was working.

Have you tried the latest megaload.net?

Tell me what version you have? Version 7 seems to work the best.

I've tried the latest Megaload.NET V7

Can u send me an email with the RMA details, I'm really stuck. Do you know why this has played up?

What if I use PonyProg and build a serial interface, will this fix it?

I really appreciate the support and willing to fix it for free. I'll send it off immediately once I get the details, unless you can think of what else i can try
