Got my system (see sig) off the bench and in the car and after some minor tweaking, I was ready to slide it into the Voom case. I connected the case fan to the motherboard, tucked everything in nicely, hooked everything up and started the car. The system ran as expected but now I have a ground/alternator noise coming out of the speakers.
So, I shut it down, disconnected the fan, slid everything back in the case, started the system and no noise.
Would connecting the fan to a molex plug instead of directly to the board fix this? Could it be junky fan?
Thanks in advance.
