M4ATX is this right....

Looking at the ad in the mp3car store it shows the output on the m4atx 12v rail as being 18 volts. The 3 and the 5 are pretty good but 18v on the 12v seems a little dangerous.
Is this common for this PSU?
If so, maybe this is not a good solution for anyone.:painkiller:

It should put out 12v on the 12v rail.

Looks like they copied/pasted from the description of a Carnetix unit... That or someone's typing skills need serious improvement.

heh, just look at the m2's user manual... well i mean that piece of folded paper that comes with it. they might as well not even give you any documentation :rolleyes:

Below is a screenshot that is displayed with the PSU in the store. No typo there just proof... That it follows right along with anything mini-box has ever created. JUNK
Not to be bitter but I've been burned a couple times buying PSU's from minibox and I must say there business practice sucks. This was years ago, but enough went wrong to say that I can't give them another chance especially when I dont hear anything positive that would sway my position.

I'd have to agree with you, 18 volts on a 12V line is on the dangerous side. I'll bet it performs that way too.

Since you brought this up. I looked at the image of the Opus 320 PSU at the mp3car store, vs, what I have, their image looks like a beta version of the Opus 320- Very outdated

I agree that sucks ***.
I've never used any of mini-box's products, and I don't think I ever would.
The bad design of the 4-pin connector on the M2ATX...
The fact that an M1 or M2 will eat itself if overloaded...
Lots of people having issues with the M4.
And now this...

Makes me love my DSATX that much more. ;)

i dunno.. i can vouch for my m2 being pretty solid. not as many features/control that i really would like, but for the price compared to a dsatx i think its a good buy. running it on my bench for a week now, ive done some pretty mean things to it and its still kickin fine.
