    m2-atx question

Ok, Im new to the whole car pc. I received my pc D945GCLF2 and of course would like to hook it up at home to install everything. How ever the power supply I would be hooking up to the m2-atx can put out 12v but it only puts out 1a so I was wondering if it would have enough current to power the pc and or if it could hurt it? Any feedback would be helpfull thanks

1 amp is insufficient to power the M2ATX and your computer system.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Use the 12v lead from an old 250+ watt ATX power supply.

allright this morning i took my psu out of my desktop and it was only reading 10.56v so it would not power up at all so I just just used my battery charger 12v 10a and every thing ran smooth. Now im just hung on witch screen to get either the lilli put 629 or the xenark 700tsv leaning twards the lilli put for the contrast ratio but still just not sure.

I chose the xenarc because it had a wider viewing angle. Where I live its currently about 10 degrees and my xenarc is sunlight readable from startup so I dont think cold is effecting the initial brightness. Overall I am happy with the xenarc but I cant directly compare it to the lilliput. I think you would be happy with either of the two.
