    Shutdown Controller Available Again

Well, I know I told everyone I was developing a microcontroller based shutdown, but I haven't had the time to polish the code. Meanwhile lots of people have been asking for the resistor capacitor based controller. Well I redid the board so that it is easier to manufacture and has more features and better current carrying features. This controller also has the option to send an ATX pulse when the power is flipped on. (haven't tested it very well yet but seems to work.)

It has 2 mounting holes, and the same features of the original. Time to Pulse, Time of pulse, Time to pull the plug.

It will work on inverters or DC-DC power supplies and I will bundle it with my supply if people want both.

Don't be fooled by imitations, (versions of Jeff's shutdown with a 2 amp relay, 24 gauge wire, and traces that are suppose to carry current that are 15/1000s of an inch thick.)

This version has a 25 amp relay and a reverse protection Diode as well as a load dump transient suppressor diode.

If you want one let me know, here is a picture:

Well there are several options, the most basic available now. I can send you everything minus a fuse and wires. You will have to solder on your own wires right now. In a week or so I will have more options. What kinda features do you want? Pulse on ignition? with wires and fuse? Use your own wires and fuse? a jumper wire to the ATX motherboard?

This is what I would like, I'm installing my old computer (ATX) in my fathers van, it will be using a 700 watt inverter and a small power supply. What I would like is a controller that turns the computer on when the car is turned on, and have it go through the shutdown sequence when the car is turned off. I rather not have to solder my own wires the the controller, since I did not design it I rather not mess with it to much, I don't want to mess things up. Would this come with the jumper wires?
    How does that sound?

I need something that takes both accessory and full power and allows power through when the is accessory line is on for more that a couple of seconds.

If this fits the bill, let me know how much and where to send payment.

    review and I want one

    I just received this board
    http://store.yahoo.net/ituner/miniitxpower.html

to review it for my car and mini-itx 800 car computer...

but I would like the shutdown/startup circuit.. the easiets possible tha tplugs into ignition..

I know nothing about these things.. so which ever one you think is best.. I can't afford that much though but I wuol dlike to get one soon for the demo and also so that I can review your product and the power supply at the same time

btw I can put you in charge with some people at ituner for you to resell your circuit and stuff with them.. they are interested.. no fee on my part or anything..just as a service to everyone

    email me at junk@vitrant.org
if interested.. speed is an issue for us as we have a demo coming up that's important

    Thanks,
    David

I think you don't have 12V regulation on this kind of board (quite the same as the casetronic...) Your 12V line will change between 9-15V...(Most PC hardware don't like that....)

    really

hmm so how do I regulate it.. what can I use.. just a regulated car 12 DC adapter?
