Ok so I used to have an eee set up but had some issues that were just annoying me. See this previous thread about one of my beefs. Anyways I took it as an opportunity to upgrade, so I bit the bullet and purchased this system. Now I'm using the eee set up as a homeputerif there's such a thing. Anyways
I'm really trying to keep my set up simple so I want to power the screen as well as a 4-port hub (in glove box for touchscreen, touchpad, wireless keyboard receiver and thumb-drive, when needed) along with the motherboard of course (see previous link) with the M2. Now I did some estimates which say to me this should be non prob, but I just wanted to see if anyone had this set up running without issues. The max usages are: mobo ~45W on 12V rail, lili screen ~12W on 12V rail, hub ~10W on 5V rail. So I'm get a draw of 4.75A on the 12V rail and 2A on the 5V which is within the M2 specs on paper. But as I said anyone had experiences with this?
