So yours worked fine with the m3? I'd hate to have to buy a new power supply.

Did you verify your power settings in the BIOS specifically the recovery from power loss?

Yes, in the bios I have it set to power off with power loss or stay off, whichever the option is.

No, the M3 seemed to degrade and eventually stop working all together. But it never had this specific problem.

    Bump. Has anyone resolved this?

I have the same issue with both my m2-atx and another PC power supply.

    Hibernate works fine.
BIOS updated to 0229 (released 7/29/09).
Nothing connected to motherboard power button jumper - no effect.

May return it and get a Zotac D-E if I can't get this working.

lol well i was soldering one of my wires on my computer before my trip away and i dropped solder on the mobo and cooked it and snapped off a small CPU resistor

so i killed the mobo, went out in a hurry to go buy another one in Australia and the local shop had a Gigabyte on with the same chipset so i got that one now but in the mean time my Switch i bought from our electronic store ****ed out and kepted turning on off really quick and it fried my monitor as i didn't keep the fuse on the line

so now i need to buy another monitor!

so sorry dude i never got around to working out why it wasn't turning off.

the only solution i came up with was to "soft" shutdown the comp and then once my Monitor went blue with no VGA Signal i then HARD Turned off the computer!

Well thanks for the feedback. I'm going to get in touch with newegg and see what they recommend. If an exchange doesn't help, I'll jump ship and buy something else.
