    M2-ATX-HV-160 Problem ?

Ok I think I have a problem. If this has been asked before in some other thread I am sorry for not looking harder. Story: Starting yesterday night all of a sudden microsoft active sync stopped connecting. I though no big deal that has happened on my desktop pc before I can fix that. So I uninstall active sync reinstall it and still nothing, however I can still charge my phone via the usb port. I finally say screw it who needs it anyways and just uninstall it. Today I start the car, and everything looks fine centrafuse starts up, music plays. I go to change the song and when I touch the touchscreen the whole pc freezes. I then restart the pc hoping that it was just a glitch, but when the computer starts back up I get a bsod. After numerous shutdowns and startups still get the bsod everytime. The error message on the bsod is something about usbport.sys. I try safe mode and still get the bsod. I unhook all of the USB devices from the computer and still nothing. By this point I am beyond mad. Then I get the bright idea to disable the usb ports in bios. When I start the computer now it starts right up like nothing is wrong, but as soon as I enable the usb ports I get the bsod again. So now its eight hours later and I am going to reinstall windows, I unhook the computer and bring it into the house and hook it up to a regular psu and everything works fine even with usb enabled. Right now I am in the process of reinstalling windows, and just wanted some guidance.

When I test the M2 with a voltmeter all the voltages are correct, (under no load). the battery is reading about 12 volts. My question is, what can it be? Obviously the pc is fine and it has something to do with not enough power or something along those lines. I just dont know what might need replacing, the battery or the psu. I just bought the psu last month so I wouldnt think its bad already? if anyone has any ideas after reading this
    please let me know.

    Thank you,
    Bill

Do you have powererd USB hubs? and if so... what do you use to power them? How much load is there on the M2 while everything is running at idle?

all that i have right now for usb is the 4 ports in the back of the mobo and all that i had connected to them when this happened was the usb for the monitor, my scantool, gps, and phone cord. now all that i have connected is the usb cord for the monitor.i never figured out how much i was drawing from those devices but surely it cant be that much, and if it is then i will be in trouble when i add the 2 front usb ports and my dvd drive.

I am having a similar problem; I unplugged my OBD from the car and pulled out my USB wifi and I have been stable for a few days.

What OBD do you have? I have an elm usb 5.
