    ok after 4h this night and 2h today i figured out this:

    - sproggy connected to mobo-
    - pin 14 connected to groud via little wire
    - the i give the mobo the pwr good - it starts

    no way to start it with the switch

    Any idea - last night i was not far away of trowing it out of the window or making it a AT PSU - I'm totally about it - until today cost me about 80EURO

    Anyone wth a little idea please please please

    EDIT

    my voltages are the following - could someone please compare .
    A=4.3V
    B=PSU ON 3.7V ;PSU OFF 4.48 V
    C=PSU ON 10.54V PSU OFF 13,28 V
    D=4.95V

    So what is the problem with my PSU?

    Thanks

    Felix

    your voltages seems fine ... if your psu kicks on the mobo when you connect the pin 14 to ground then i feel your mobo is not giving ground through pin 14 use a ac psu and check if the mobo is giving ground on pin 14 and does the ground hold there..

    your PSU is working perfectly as designed the 4.46 v on the stby is not a problem....

    when your pin14 (gren wire) is given ground (not frm the mobo seperate ) does the sproggy kicks on and boots the mobo ?

    Cheers

    the mobo works ultra fine with an AC psu

    via MObo Pin 14 seems not to bee grounded- only voltage drop i think-
    when i ground pin 14 manually the PSU (relais) turns on and mobo starts fine .

    EDIT

    with an AC PSU its perfectly grounded

    with the sproggy I have the following voltages
    : B=PSU ON 3.7V ;PSU OFF 4.48 V
    point B = green wire

    hi maestro , is it a simple NPN transistor or does it do somethong specific (caracteristiques) because cannot find it /and store also on those Transistor equivalent books

    Tnx

    does not work now i'm not far away of throwing the whole thing out of the window . - No with the new transistor it even doesn hold anymore when i bridge 14 w. gnd after i putted the old transistor in - the same no more hold.

    so the ultime chance is that those 4.4V Stndy are not enough . but how to change this because the diode cut 0.6V

    so I'have 3 solutions left :
    1) you or someone else got a good solution trick for me
    2) the sproggy will go AT version
    3) i'll desolder all and build PT cruisers version

    so at this point i dont know what is wrong - perhaps if you could give me some mesurement point to check and some reference voltages of a working sproggy - perhaps it could help finding out

    thanks

    Mastero, I need your help man, I have biult a sproggy and it wont work with an EPIA M 6000. It simply refuses to POST. All voltages are good, no matter what delay I put on the pwr good signal, it refuses to boot. Ive checke and double checked and checked again about a dozen times everything, even tried different brands of inductors, changed the lm2587-12T and all the diodes, still no good. using the push button on the EPIA the sproggy (ive modified it to power up the relay with a 5v relay and 7805 for the purple +5sb supply) and the fan on the EPIA starts up, everything looks really good, just no boot HDD spins up, starts doing it checks, looks really good. NO POST!.
    Whats your suggestion?
